Oglivy Illustration

As a project for my Illustrations course (Fall 2023), I was tasked with creating a magazine cover. The assignment could be taken in any direction you wanted, as long as illustration was the primary component. I chose to do David Oglivy (I was applying for an Oglivy Associates program at the time) and mimic the layout of Adweek. Below you can see my creative process on why I made the decisions I did, as well as how I got to my final project. I used Procreate for the bulk of the illustrations, then Adobe Illustrator for the final text and color/texture tweaks.
